The Kenosha Area Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit association of business people, industrialists, retailers, professional, and service people and individuals who support an on-going program of economic and community development in the Kenosha area. Together, they share in a common concern of making this area a better place to live and conduct business. Toward this single purpose, the Chamber works closely with local municipalities and other associations.

Special Session Act 7 created a new Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC), a public-private corporation to replace the state Department of Commerce (Commerce).

WEDC will lead Wisconsin’s economic development efforts. We will prove to businesses here, in other states and around the world that Wisconsin is open for business. We will market our advantages as the best state to start, grow and expand a business.
