Child Care Assistance

Program Information
Child Care Assistance / Wisconsin SHARES helps provide access to financial assistance on child care expenses for eligible participants. Families can apply for help with paying for child care costs in order to work and attend school / training activities within the policy guidelines. Parents choose a child care provider from those who county certified or state licensed. Parents will be responsible to pay for part of the costs of child care based on their income, the number of children who need care, family size, and the type of child care provider chosen.

How to Apply
To find out if you are eligible for Child Care Assistance, use our online "Am I Eligible?" service or you can submit an application online at www.access.wisconsin.gov. You can also submit an application in person at Kenosha County Job Center located at 8600 Sheridan Road or the Kenosha County Center located on the corners of Highways 45 and 50.
