Dear Kenosha County Residents, A portion of the spending authorized by ARRA is passed directly to Wisconsin and then distributed to local governments through formula allocations. Other funds in ARRA are allocated through competitive grants. Because communities across the nation are all seeking stimulus dollars to fund important projects, there will inevitably be more applications for money than funds available. While Kenosha County will continue to apply for competitive grants, it is difficult to predict how much stimulus money we will ultimately receive. Jim Kreuser
