The eighth annual Old Settlers Oktoberfest will take place Sept. 8 at Old Settlers County Park in Paddock Lake from noon to 8 p.m. The event includes German music and dancing, food, beer, wine and games and activities for all ages.

Enjoy a night of family fun with everything neon, light-up and glow-in-the-dark at Petrifying Springs Park (Kenosha County Parks) Petrifying Springs Biergarten. Glow in the Garten 3K is presented by North Shore Bank! Registration includes a t-shirt, a post-race beverage (beer, water or soda), and entertainment including face painting, a balloon artist and live music. The official Glow in the Garten race will step off at 7:15pm. The shorter race for kids 12 and under will begin at 6:30pm. Disclaimer: the route is technically 3.5 kilometers!
