  1. How do I go about obtaining a copy of my divorce decree?

    You can request the copy from the Family Division of the Circuit Court.  The Room number is 109 in the Kenosha County Courthouse. The telephone number is 653-2454. The cost is $1.25 per page.

    If the copy needs to be "Certified" there is an additional charge of $5.00.

    If you just want a copy for your records, it is not necessary to get a certified copy. It is helpful to have your case number.

  2. How do I request to view a court file?

    You can request a court record be pulled and available for your review by contacting the Records Department of Circuit Court at (262)653-2664.  You will need to know the case number of the file you are requesting, or you may be charged a $5.00 search fee.  A 24-hour notice is needed for the file to be located and available for inspection.

    If you should need copies of any of the documents, the fee is $1.25 per page.  If the document needs to be certified, an addition fee of $5.00 is charged.
