Western Kenosha County Transit
Public Transportation - Expanding Commuter Routes
Beginning Monday, December 28, 2009, Western Kenosha County Transit will be following a new schedule. The most significant change is an expansion to the service to include commuter service. The new schedule will include early morning service from Twin Lakes to Kenosha and Antioch, IL with stops in Paddock Lake, Silver Lake and Salem. The morning commuter service will allow for riders to connect with Kenosha Area Transit buses or METRA trains. Commuter service continues in the early evening hours providing many options for riders to use Western Transit for both legs of a work commute. Expanded commuter service is available Monday-Friday.
Other changes to Western Transit effective on December 28 include revisions to the schedule and bus stop locations with new stops in Twin Lakes and Camp Lake. Saturday routes are also available.
