Demont Clark
Golden Living Center of Kenosha
My name is Demont Clark. I am employed at Golden Living Center of Kenosha. I originally became a caregiver because I needed a job. That job turned out to be more than just a job. It became my profession. It taught me how to love and care for people; and brought out patience in me that I never knew I had.
My profession is quite rewarding because I am able to help lift the spirits of the residents I care for. They are very appreciative of what I do for them and I willingly do whatever they ask of me. I’ve grown tremendously in my compassion for the people I serve and I continually meet new people. I have learned a lot and it has really changed my life.
Since the day I started at Golden Living Center I’ve felt like I was part of a family. My co-workers and I depend upon one another and we are able to work as a team.
I am able to build great relationships with the people I care for and their family members by being someone they can count on and trust. It is not always easy, but God guides my life and helps lead me. I receive great satisfaction when my peers and supervisors acknowledge that I am doing a good job.
