Career Opportunities - Laundry
The Brookside laundry processes an average of 2100 pounds of soiled lines and personal clothing everyday. Out laundry staff is responsible to collect and sort the linen to load into industrial washing machines and dryers. Small and big piece folding is a large part of the job, to keep an adequate supply of "house" linens in the nursing care areas. All residents receive clean folded or hung clothing Monday through Friday. This is also a heavy manual job and requires passing a physical before employment.
