Volunteer Opportunities

The mission of a Volunteer is to provide a service to persons in need and respond to those basic needs of the residents in an atmosphere of respect for their dignity and independence. Their goal should be to assist residents to participate in formal and informal facility activities, and to provide residents with the opportunity to have contact with people in addition to other residents and staff.

The volunteer should be sensitive to the needs of others and offer themselves to meet those needs, through friendly visits, resident outings, crafts, games, special events, music programs and entertainment. Be someone who cares with thoughtful understanding and dedicated service.

"The purpose of life is to serve and to show compassion and the will to help others, only then have we ourselves become true human beings."
