Program Services - Child Care Assistance

Photo: KCJC General ReceptionChild Care Assistance helps provide access to financial assistance for eligible participants. Families can apply for help with paying for child care costs in order to work and/or attend school/training activities within the policy guidelines. Parents choose a child care provider from those who meet basic safety and health rules. Parents will be responsible to pay for part of the costs of child care based on their income, the number of children who need care, family size, and the type of child care provider chosen. This is a sliding fee schedule to the child care provider. To find out if you are eligible for Child Care Assistance, use our online “Am I Eligible?” service at www.access.wisconsin.gov. You can also submit an application online or in person at Kenosha County Job Center located at 8600 Sheridan Road or the Kenosha County Center located on the corners of Highways 45 and 50.
