Program Services - Wisconsin Works (W-2)
Wisconsin Works (W-2) is available to eligible low-income parents whose minor children live with them. W-2 provides a wide range of employment services and training to help eligible Wisconsin residents obtain and keep employment. Each W-2 participant will meet with a Financial and Employment Planner who will help set up an employability plan and determine what types of services the person needs to succeed in finding and keeping a job. Under W-2, there is a place for everyone who is willing to work. Individuals will be placed at a work or work training level that fits closest with their abilities. W-2 has four position levels which include Case Management Services, Trial Jobs, Community Service Jobs (CSJ) and W-2 Transition Placements (W-2T). CJS and W-2T positions have a monthly payment based on client participation. To find out if you are eligible for Wisconsin Works, you must apply at:
