Beginning April 1, 2008, Kenosha County will be introducing a discount card program to help consumers cope with the high price of prescription drugs. Kenosha County has signed a contract to make free prescription drug discount cards available under a program sponsored by the National Association of Counties (NACo) that offers average savings of 20% off the retail price of commonly prescribed drugs. 10/24/2006:
On Tuesday October 24th, the Kenosha County Job Center was visited by Wisconsin's Lieutenant Governor Barbara Lawton. The Lieutenant Governor, along with State Representative Jim Kreuser were in Kenosha to present a check awarding Kenosha County DCFS the Juvenile Justice Grant. Accepting the award for Kenosha was John Jansen, Director DCFS.
10/09/2006:
On Monday October 9th, the Child Care Center was visited by Wisconsin DWD Secretary Roberta Gassman. The Secretary was in Kenosha to present a check awarding Kenosha County DCFS the Community Child Care Initiative Grant. Accepting the award for Kenosha was John Jansen, Director DCFS.
