Section 1:  General Questions

1.1  How was this list of questions compiled?

This list was compiled in response to the feedback Kenosha County has received from the public.  The majority of these questions have been asked many times by different people and so have been listed here.  As new questions arise, this list will be expanded.

1.2  My question isn't on this list, how can I get an answer?

1.4  What is the nearest airport to Kenosha County?

Although there is an airport located within the City of Kenosha, it does not offer scheduled passenger service.  The closest airport that does offer scheduled passenger service is Milwaukee's Mitchell International Airport.  

1.5  Can I be sent travel information and maps about Kenosha County?

You will want to visit  the Kenosha Area Convention and Visitors Bureau.  From this site, you can submit a request for travel information.  They also provide a great deal of online information about visiting Kenosha County.

Birth, death and marriage certificates are handled by the Register of Deeds Office.  You can contact them at (262) 653-2444 or visit their office at 1010 56th St.  Kenosha, WI 53140-3738 in order to receive a copy of a Birth/Death/Marriage certificate.  For more information, visit the Register of Deeds Website.

3.2 Where can I get more information on Tax Delinquent properties?

Tax delinquent properties are handled through the County Clerk's office.  For more information about purchasing such properties, you can call (262) 653-2552 or visit the County Clerk Website.

3.3 How can I pay my property taxes online?
