Datasharing Agreements

All requestors of digital mapping data are required to sign a Kenosha County datasharing agreement prior to purchasing data.  A .pdf version of the agreement is available here.   The agreement must be signed and faxed back to the Department of Planning and Development at (262)-857-1920  Attention:  GIS Staff.  Once the agreement is received, data orders will require 3-5 business days to fulfill.  Future data orders require a new agreement be executed.

Data Formats

All vector and text map products are available in either .dwg or ESRI personal geodatabase formats.  Orthophotography is available in LizardTech MrSID format only.

Data Delivery Options

Data orders less than 10 MB in size can be emailed to the requestor (may require multiple emails if requestor has email attachment size restrictions).  Any orders larger than 10 MB must be written to CD ($30 per CD) or posted to the Kenosha County FTP site for purchaser to download at no additional charge.

Tax Attribute Data

All mapping data orders above are for mapping data elements only.  No tax attribute data is included within the cadastral mapping data layers.  The cadastral mapping data does contain a standardized tax parcel ID attribute that can be used to link the map with a tax attribute data file.  The tax attribute data file is available through the Kenosha County Information Systems Division at (262)-653-2816.  Please note tax attribute data is subject to separate fees and is not governed by the above mentioned datasharing agreement.
