KD Park

 

The KD Park is now open.

The park is open daily, from 7 am to 10 pm, until November 25. 

The following uses will be permitted: catch and release fishing, hiking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, picnicking and other events as determined by Park Division.

January 31, 2012: KD Park Master Plan Complete

The Master Plan for the KD Park is now available for download.

 

 

July 2011: KD Master Plan: Phase One Complete

JRR and the Kenosha County Green Ribbon Committee recently completed the first step in developing the master plan for the KD Park, which included gathering data about the site, developing a vision statement for the park, and exploring potential sustainability educational and recreational activities and exhibits.  To learn more, please visit the Green Ribbon Committee page or download a pdf summary of Phase One.
