Lobby Kiosk Payment Acceptor
For Deposits to an Inmate’s Commissary Account
Family and friends of inmates housed at the Kenosha County Jail and the Kenosha County Detention Center can deposit funds into an inmate’s commissary account utilizing the Kiosk Payment Acceptor located in the lobbies of the Public Safety Building (1st floor) and the Kenosha County Detention Center.
The Kiosk will accept Cash and Credit Cards.
THE KIOSK CAN NOT BE USED FOR POSTING BOND. BOND MUST BE POSTED AT JOINT SERVICES LOCATED IN THE PUBLIC SAFETY BUILDING.
It will immediately deposit the money into the Inmate’s account. Any monies deposited will be subject to the normal collections for debts owed to the jail by the inmate.
The automated payment kiosk accepts United States currency in 5, 10, 20, 50, and 100 US denominations.
Deposits may be made in the Public Safety Building lobby area or the Kenosha County Detention Center lobby area seven days a week, 24 hours a day.
There is a $2.75 convenience fee for utilizing the Lobby Kiosk.
The fee will be deducted from the amount deposited into the Inmate’s account.
The Lobby Kiosk:
- Will only accept $5.00 dollar bills or higher for a cash deposit to inmate commissary accounts.
- Family and friends will have to know the ID number (example 1234Z, do not use zeros that are in front of the number and do not enter the hyphen (-) or any numbers after the hyphen) and full, correct name. Click here to find inmate number,
- Funds deposited will be immediately credited to the inmate’s account
- A receipt will be issued from the Kiosk to the person depositing the funds.
- A receipt will be issued to the inmate.
NO REFUNDS – MAKE SURE YOU SELECT THE CORRECT
INMATE. WE WILL NOT ISSUE REFUNDS IF MONEY IS
DEPOSITED TO THE WRONG INMATE’S ACCOUNT.

You will need:
- Pay Location Code 5500 (After you enter the Pay Location Code on the web site, you will be asked to confirm agency information. The correct agency information is Swanson Services Corporation, For Inmate Deposits. When you continue, you will enter the information listed in #2.)
- Enter Inmate’s Name
Location which is: ENW - Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department
ID number (example 1234Z, do not use zeros that are in front of the number and do not enter the hyphen (-) or any numbers after the hyphen). If you do not know the ID number, you should get it from the inmate or if the inmate is not a Federal Inmate, you can search for the ID Number on our inmate roster at www.kenoshacountyjail.org
- Your Credit or Debit Card
NOTE: Any monies deposited will be subject to the normal collections for debts owed to the jail by the inmate.
Government Payment Service does charge a transaction fee for using this service. If you have any questions regarding their fees or minimum and maximum deposits, please contact Government Payment Service at the number above.
Transactions can not be cancelled after completion.
