· Inmates/Detainees will be allowed one (1) general visit per week, up to 30 minutes in length. The week runs Sunday through Saturday.
· Registration for general visiting will close 35 minutes prior to the scheduled end of the visiting session. No one will be allowed to register after this time. Visits are always on a first come first serve basis.
· There is no visitation on the following dates: New Years Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, The Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Years Eve.
· Only two adults are allowed per inmate/Detainee. Parents and Guardians must accompany all minors. Every adult must have a valid ID, which will be kept until the visit is complete.
· All personal items must be locked in a locker. No personal items, food or drink is allowed in the visiting area.
· You must sit in your assigned seat and use the assigned phone.
· Visitors are responsible for their children and their actions.
Professional Visiting Hours and Rules
Kenosha County Detention Center
There are two types of professional visitation available: Officer Supervised and Unsupervised.
- Officer Supervised visitation means that an officer is in the area. The professional visitor will be placed in a visitation room with the inmate and the door left unlocked.
- Unsupervised visitation means there will not be an officer in the immediate area. The professional visitor will be placed in a visitation room with the inmate and the door locked. The professional visitor will have access to a phone in the room with him/her to be able to contact Master Control. The professional visitor has the option of having the inmate handcuffed to the wall for the duration of the visit.
Officer Supervised Professional Visitation Hours:
Wednesday and Thursday: 8:30AM to 11:00AM
1:00PM to 4:00PM
Unsupervised Professional Visitation Hours:

There will be no professional visiting, except Attorney/Client meetings, allowed on the following days: New Year’s Day; Good Friday; Memorial Day; Independence Day; Labor Day; Thanksgiving Day; Friday after Thanksgiving; Christmas Eve; Christmas Day; New Year’s Eve.
